About

Two cousins with a dream

We've always loved business and the idea of being your own boss. As kids we would sit in the back of the car and brainstorm problems we could solve. That childhood ambition never faded: ten years later we're still solving problems, just at a much grander scale.

The founders

Who you'll be working with

Thomas Bucks, co-founder of Bucks AI

Thomas Bucks

Founder

Thomas is a student at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He studies finance and AI, and has had a passion for artificial intelligence since the modern AI wave began. He took it upon himself to learn everything about AI and used that knowledge in parallel with his education to create real value-adding systems for businesses around the country. He spent this summer working inside a private investment firm, helping synthesize scattered data into one place the whole team can use conveniently, every day. Solving new problems there day after day grew his skills tremendously and convinced him of a simple truth: companies need AI systems to function at their full potential. Now he uses his skills to mentor owners in the rapidly changing AI space and deploy real AI solutions for their companies.

Josh Bucks

Co-Founder

Josh is a student at the University of Arizona, studying Engineering Management with a concentration in AI-driven systems and process optimization. His interest in AI began with a broader curiosity about how systems and workflows can be optimized and automated, and accelerated after a summer working inside an early-stage AI startup building an assistant for small business owners, where he saw firsthand what modern AI can do inside a real product. He has since built personal AI agents to automate his own daily work and contributed shipped software, structured quality assurance methodologies, and in-person customer installs to a product used by real owner-operators. Now he combines his engineering training with hands-on AI experience to mentor owners on adopting AI, deploy real AI solutions for their companies, and continue expanding his own technical range as the field evolves.

How we think

Three things we believe

Relationships first

We grow through people who trust us and clients who refer us. That only works if every system we ship earns it.

Plain English or it doesn't ship

If we can't explain what a system does in one paragraph a non-engineer understands, it isn't done.

Nothing lives in one head

The whole point is systems that outlast any single person. That standard applies to us too: everything we build is documented.
